Job Summary

A software technology company is filling a position for a Remote Software Data Engineering Head in New York City.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of enterprise data architecture
  • Leading the design and build of robust and scalable data pipelines
  • Implementing and managing Agile and CI/CD best practices

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a quantitative/technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Information System, Statistics, etc.)
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in data engineering or software engineering
  • Experience of building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: AWS Data Pipeline, Airflow, etc
  • Experience with Databricks, Amazon AWS, and Google Cloud Platforms
  • Experience with container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, etc
