Job Summary

A technology company is filling a position for a Remote Software Developer in Seattle.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Building high level (Ruby-side) features
• Improving the speed & accuracy of the front-end editing tool
• Increasing accuracy of background identification for pictures

Required Skills:

• Work from home every Wednesday
• 3-5+ years experience in a high-level programming language and stayed at one of their past 3 jobs for 2+ years
• Some degree of experience with low level development, and experience building or refining development tools
• Demonstrable willingness to tackle and succeed with very difficult projects
• Passion for software development, including a history of contributing to side projects outside one's day job
• Handy with a variety of debugging techniques and experience with high-level programming concepts
• Past projects in the domain of image processing
• Academic success in math and statistics
