A software development company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Software Development Commercial and Corporate Counsel.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Build scalable and efficient processes for addressing risks in business-centric ways
- Build the legal operations function
- Structure, draft, and negotiate complex commercial agreements
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Qualified attorney licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of intellectual property and data privacy regulations and related requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial technology transactions (SaaS, licensing, partnerships)
- Strong interpersonal skills and keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment
