Job Summary

A software development company specializing in system and service management solutions has a current position open for a Remote Software Development Lead Database Administration.

Must be able to:

  • Provide proactive tuning and capacity optimization of databases supporting BMC Helix products & services
  • Drive & support automation and compliance efforts of database solutions & associated technologies
  • Support BCP & DR activities of database technologies including database backups/recovery

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Experience working with physical, virtual, AWS and AZURE database environments
  • Experience working with database technology high-availability solutions
  • Experience working with database scripting using T-SQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, MySQL operating systems using Windows and Linux
  • Experience working with performance analysis & tuning of database applications or other similar OLTP/OLAP applications
  • Expert knowledge & experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Good understanding of Compliance & Governance, Change Control, Security and Security practices
