Job Summary

A computer software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Software Development Manager.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Creating, prioritizing, communicating, managing, and executing roadmaps, project plans, and commitments
  • Reporting on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management
  • Working closely with engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 5+ years of relevant engineering experience with proven record of delivery
  • 3+ years of experience with managing the day-to-day activities of an engineering team
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, and a track record of shipping software on time
  • Extensive experience with Java and microservices architecture
  • Passion for people management and mentoring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
