Job Summary

A consulting and training company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Software Development Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software
  • Managing the software development team for the Education division

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Possess senior engineer level proficiency with Ruby on Rails
  • Have 7+ years of professional programming experience
  • Have a BA/BS in Computer Science, a related degree, or equivalent practical experience
  • Have 2+ years of technical leadership and people management experience
  • Have a pragmatic mindset and aptitude for balancing technical excellence and value delivery
  • Proficiency in Domain Driven Design or willingness to learn and apply its principles
