Job Summary

A global technology company is seeking a Remote Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain of web based business applications
• Contribute to the introduction and phasing in of new web technologies and methodologies into the development environment
• Implement and design of Ruby-on-Rails based libraries/applications

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time
• 1+ year experience in software development or relevant school projects/portfolios, and/or internships
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and knowledge of web design development
• Experience with/ability to learn web frameworks, specifically Ruby-on-Rails and frontend web technologies
• Knowledge of relational database systems, software development processes, Linux/Unix, and RESTful web services
• 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to submit to a drug test and background investigation and maintain government security clearance
