Job Summary

A technology company is filling a position for a Remote Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Implementing and maintaining web based business applications
  • Implementing and designing Ruby-on-Rails based libraries/applications
  • Contributing to the introduction and phasing in of new web technologies and methodologies into the development environment

Required Skills:

  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Experience with/Ability to learn web frameworks, specifically Ruby-on-Rails
  • Experience with/Ability to learn frontend web technologies
  • Knowledge of relational database systems
  • Familiarity with software development process
