Job Summary

An online booking service for train travel throughout the UK and Europe is seeking a Remote Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Maintaining and improving our existing infrastructure
  • Integrating new rail operator booking systems
  • Scaling effectively for a rapidly expanding user base

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Ability to travel for Developer conferences, annual retreats, etc
  • 4+ years of professional programming experience
  • Deep knowledge and experience of Ruby
  • Can work hours that have some overlap with London daytime
  • A good working knowledge of modern devops technologies such as Docker
  • comfortable designing object oriented software from scratch
