Job Summary

A wedding planning company has an open position for a Remote Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Serving as an Engineer for the Austin Transactional Systems team
  • Managing, maintaining, and upgrading Magento platform
  • Producing well-tested, maintainable code on the back-end and front-end

Required Skills:

  • 2 years experience as a software engineer building beautiful, scalable, and highly visible web applications
  • Minimum 1-year experience with Magento
  • PHP7, Apache/NGINX, Varnish, Redis, MySQL/SQL, Elasticsearch, CSS, Bootstrap, HTML5 / Javascript/jQuery
  • Understanding of server configuration, optimization, caching, and scaling techniques
  • Familiarity with the latest Javascript technologies and experience building new front-end features
  • Experience working with Cloud infrastructure platforms
