Job Summary

A not-for-profit startup accelerator company is in need of a Remote Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Contributing to new platform architecture with both planning activity and a significant amount of hands on development
  • Participating in code reviews, create automated and functional testing, and participate in other aspects of our quality assurance process
  • Using and promoting standard python coding conventions

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 3 or more years of commercial software development experience including 1-2 years of python experience
  • Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science or equivalent software development experience
  • Have experience with full-stack web application development in Django
  • Have experience with using Javascript frameworks like REACT
  • Have experience with data storage systems. SQL at minimum
  • Have knowledge/familiarity with agile software methodology
