Job Summary
A biotechnology non-profit organization is in need of a Remote Software Engineer I II III in Farmington.
Must be able to:
- Perform algorithm implementation, data visualization, and bioinformatics programming
- Assist in data dissemination
- Software development leveraging GitHub for version control and project coordination
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, biomedical informatics, statistics, or related field
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple large-scale collaborations that include a wide variety of domain expert
- Experience programming in the following languages: Java, Python
- Data and schema harmonization strategies and compliance testing
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Willing to contribute to open source software development and informatics projects
