Job Summary

An insurance and financial services company has an open position for a Remote Software Engineer I or II.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Contributing towards the backend development, testing, maintenance and integration of applications
  • Using patterns and leverage modern frameworks to build, maintain, and implement solutions
  • Communicating technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS), JavaScript, Vue, Groovy, Microservices
  • Experience with DB2, IMS, SQL, JCL, CA7, Topaz, VSAM, COBOL
  • Overall mainframe knowledge
  • Test Automation initiatives
