Job Summary
A cloud infrastructure and visualization solutions provider. has a current position open for a Remote Software Engineer in Boston.
Must be able to:
- Build Services which are decoupled and provide high throughput and can deal with very large volumes of data
- Work with stakeholders and other team members to deliver and operate large scale, distributed services in the cloud
Position Requirements Include:
- 4 to 6 plus years of related experience in building large scale distributed systems and Microservices
- Demonstrated knowledge in using Messaging systems (Kafka/Kinesis) and RDBMSes(Oracle/Postgres/Mysql)
- Demonstrated knowledge of concurrency, resiliency, caching, HTTP, REST and Distributed Tracing
- Working knowledge of continuous delivery pipelines using tools including Docker, GitHub, Kubernetes and AWS tools, while following configuration as code practices
- Experience in the Security domain, a bonus
- Experience with NOSQL systems (e.g. Cassandra, DynamoDB), a bonus
