Job Summary
A healthcare software company has an open position for a Remote Software Engineer Lead.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing technical leadership by supporting recruiting, training and mentoring engineers
- Identifying and implementing changes that improve the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), in areas such as speed and productivity, using Proof of Concepts and prototyping (by working with Development, QA, DevOps)
- Working across vast data sets to produce new insights and solutions for our customers
Qualifications for this position include:
- 3-7 years’ experience engineering scalable software solutions, and while you do not need to a front-end guru, having full-stack experience is required
- Experience with (or similar) programming languages tools and databases: Angular.JS, JavaScript, Elixir/Erlang programming, Go, Python, C#/.Net, Java, C++, Delphi, SQL, Document stores, unified analytics (Spark, Hadoop, etc.), Serverless (Azure functions, Lambda, etc.)
- In-depth understanding of the different architecture models, and their costs, pros, and cons; existing systems architecture and release pipelines; automated testing methods and their applications; and TDD
- Start-up management experience or accountability with taking a product full cycle; concept to market
- Industry-specific domain in US healthcare is valuable and preferred, but relative experience in retail/consumer experience would also be highly relevant
