Job Summary
An Internet domain registrar and web hosting company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Software Engineering Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Leading architecture and technology strategy for our team and partner teams as well as with core external technology partners
- Using experience with modern cloud, full stack JavaScript, and UI frameworks to build products that improve every step of our customers experience.
- Partnering with PM & Design on each new project, focusing us on incremental delivery
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience managing or contributing to open source (Send us a link to your GitHub!)
- Have engineering roots and still love to get your hands-dirty, but your passion is mentoring others to be the best engineers they can be
- Experience working with multiple engineering teams, each with their own product direction and delivery schedules
- Ability to keep up-to-date with the latest engineering trends, but understand that adopting every new practice is more problematic than using a select number of well-proven practices
