Job Summary

A life insurance company has a current position open for a Remote Software Engineering Manager.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Growing and leading talented engineers with diverse technical backgrounds
  • Writing high quality, shippable code across the stack that is easy to maintain and test
  • Developing a deep understanding of various applications to perform comprehensive root cause analysis

Qualifications Include:

  • 2+ years of engineering management experience
  • 8+ years experience as a software engineer
  • 6+ years professional experience building complex, scalable web and database applications
  • Experience building/consuming RESTful web-services
  • Strong experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React and/or Vue.js
  • Experience with Git, CI, and deployment tools
