Job Summary
A privately-held employment-related search engine has an open position for a Remote Software Engineering Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on leadership for a full-stack development team building and enhancing products and systems
- Help ensure company's keep the talent bar high, and grow the skills and capabilities of the team
- Work as assigned
Qualifications for this position include:
- BS in Computer Science or related area, or relevant work experience
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale software development
- Significant prior success as an Engineering Manager (3+ direct reports) working on challenging problems
- Experience with at least one of the following languages: Go, Java, C++, Python, C#
- Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms and excellent programming skills
- The ability to guide a team to achieve important goals together
