Job Summary

A health IT company is seeking a Remote Software Engineering Manager.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Building out a new PHP based API using our proprietary framework
  • Overseeing the SDLC process for the backend API
  • Delegating work to a mid-sized team of engineers

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Extensive experience with PHP, Mysql, and Sql Server
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science / CIS required OR 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • 3-5 years of development experience
  • Experience with building secure rest APIs using Symfony like frameworks
  • Experience with managing a team of software engineers for 1+ years
  • Experience with the git version control system
