Job Summary
An employment-related search engine is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Software Engineering Marketplace Platform Staff Product Scientist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Work alongside product managers and engineering teams to help guide tactical and strategic product decision
- Work alongside other data scientists and software engineers to expand Indeed's catalog of tools
- Work across a wide range of related areas - data extraction and cleansing, feature engineering, machine learning and more
Position Requirements Include:
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a closely related quantitative field
- 7+ years of professional industry experience in Data Science, Business Analytics, or Data Analysis
- Experience coding in Python, R or another advanced data programming language
- Familiarity with statistical concepts as applied to A/B testing or survey methodologies
- Ability to synthesize findings and present them visually and intuitively to tell a story and drive action
