Job Summary
A company providing wild-caught, sustainably sourced seafood is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Software Engineering Vice President.
Must be able to:
- Establish and align on goals for the Engineering team
- Manage 4 - 8 direct reports
- Develop engineering metrics to review results
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience and increasing responsibility within technology teams
- Experience hiring and managing software engineers
- Working knowledge of PHP, Laravel, vue js, AWS, and event-driven architecture
- Deep knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Experience building and maintaining internal stakeholder relationships and vendor partnerships
- Experience managing a budget
