Job Summary
A networking, connectivity, and cable products manufacturing company has an open position for a Remote Software Manager Cloud Principal Engineer .
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Leading the software effort in teams United States and abroad including India and Europe
- Participating in strategic planning to transform and grow existing platform as well as introduce new capabilities
- Collaborating with the Product Management teams of various businesses and their Executive teams to define the business and technical requirements for the cloud-native and hybrid solutions
Position Requirements Include:
- 7+ years of demonstrated technical leadership in architecture, design and implementation of highly distributed microservice-based applications, having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, scalability and security
- Cloud architecture experience for both private and public cloud
- Experience with solutions supporting automated deployment using an “Infrastructure as Code” pattern, like Terraform
- Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
- Ability to connect technology with measurable business value
