Job Summary

A telecommunications and software company is filling a position for a Remote Software Product Management Senior Consultant.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Defining the customer needs and analyze the competitive environment in the converging SD-WAN/SASE market
  • Defining/providing direction into the activities and priorities for development and operational teams focused on SD-WAN/SASE products
  • Understanding end user and market requirements in the defined space and document product user stories for the development team

Required Skills:

  • Experience as the product manager working in collaborative agile development environments
  • Familiarity and ease of communication in highly technical and (not highly technical) environments
  • Demonstrated understanding of the networking, security, and cloud industries and capabilities
  • Working knowledge of network protocols including Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP, NAT/PAT, BGP, MPLS, and OpenFlow
  • Understanding of SD-WAN, SDN and SDN controllers, data plane, control plane, management plans
  • Understanding security functions including cloud & premises based stateful firewalls, next generation firewalls, Cloud web Security, etc
