Job Summary
A software and services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Software Products Standards Vice President.
Must be able to:
- Establish which compliance and certification as required for product interoperability
- Understand the impact and opportunities within Open Source
- Maintain and lead revisions of the standards, establish an internal standards roadmap and identify gaps and opportunities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum 10-yrs of experience in major global standards forums
- Intimate familiarity with networking broadband is mandatory
- Detailed protocol-level know-how of various key
- In-depth understanding of various Layer-2, Layer-3, Layer-4 and application layers is required
