Job Summary

A software development company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Software Quality Assurance Engineer II.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures
  • Documenting software defects, using a bug tracking system, and reporting defects to software developers
  • Reviewing software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, to mitigate risks

Required Skills:

  • BS or BA degree preferred, with hands-on experience with testing tools required
  • 3-4 years of relevant QA technical experience using automation tools is desired
  • 3-4 years large enterprise or e-business systems experience plus Agile/Kanban Development Methodologies required
  • Hands-on experience in testing in Microsoft-centric solutions and development processes e.g. .NET framework, C#, SQL Server
  • Azure DevOps and ability to write create clear, concise detail oriented test plans/cases
  • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables ensures the ability to find the bad defects and bugs quickly
