Job Summary

A software development company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Software Security Consultant I.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Identifying technical risks and provide mitigation strategies
  • Establishing trusted technical advisor relationship with customers regarding web security
  • Leading and/or participating in design and implementation projects to deploy security solutions

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 3+ years of system integration within sophisticated environments
  • 2+ years providing professional services or solution engineering to large scale enterprises
  • Experience in a technical role involving web operations
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, Javascript, CSS and other technologies
  • Independent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related engineering field OR equivalent
