Job Summary

A staffing and recruiting agency is filling a position for a Remote Software Security Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and execute vulnerability and policy compliance assessments
• Identify the relevant threats and eliminate false positives through manual validation
• Generate reports on assessment findings

Qualifications Include:

• 8-10 years of experience
• Experience with vulnerability and compliance process and assessment using Qualys
• Experience and knowledge of *nix operating systems
• Knowledge of Windows networking, windows domains and active directory, GPOs and end-point security
• Experience performing system hardening based on security standards
• Knowledge in industry and government security standards (NIST, CIS, etc.)
