Job Summary
A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Software Senior Technical Support Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Establish and maintain expert level knowledge of all company systems & applications
- Partner with Level 1 customer support to ensure timely resolution of support issues
- Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in enterprise technical support, IT support or as a technical engineer
- Experience with agile development methodologies including Kanban and Scrum
- Proficiency in MySQL and similar database platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, operations, and processes
