Job Summary
A computer software company is seeking a Remote Software Solutions Architect in Palo Alto.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Building vSAN solution reference architecture, standard methodologies, performance characteristics, and other technical assets
- Providing direct assistance to presales efforts
- Remotely managing with lengthy and challenging vSAN customer PoCs
Qualifications for this position include:
- Skills, personality and motivation are important; location and travel less so
- 5 years of experience with data storage and related fields
- Minimum of 3 years in a Solutions Architect, Corporate Systems Engineer, or Technology Consultant role
- Extensive hands-on experience dealing with infrastructure solutions
- Experienced in storage performance testing, monitoring, analytics and tuning
- Deep sense of automation/scripting is preferable and be familiar with ruby or python programming as well as shell, bash and powershell
