Job Summary

A software development company is filling a position for a Remote Software Systems Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Working on a variety of systems covering a complex assortment of software, hardware, and network configurations
  • Evaluating systems components, systems software, networking infrastructure and hardware peripherals
  • Managing data migrations

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Service Management, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience, including 3 years in systems administration managing Unix/Linux systems
  • Experience administering relational databases, with hands on experience with SQL
