A security and systems management company has a current position open for a Remote Software Technical Writer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Planning and writing security software installation, user, and admin guides
- Collaborating with user experience team on design of product user guide web site
- Developing and recommending documentation style standards, information architecture, tools, and best practices
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 5 + years experience in software documentation
- Experience writing for a system administrator audience
- Experience documenting for both Windows and Linux environments
- Familiarity with XML, HTML, topic based/structured authoring, and single-sourcing; knowledge of DITA
