Job Summary
A staffing agency needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Software Technical Writer II in Richardson.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Researching, planning, writing, editing and maintaining technical and process documents
- Creating document drafts, making changes and updates to existing documentation
- Identifying opportunities to improve quality, usability, and productivity
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel approximately 5% travel
- 5+ years experience as a Technical Writer in the software industry
- Technical background and are familiar with documenting technologies
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in technical writing
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on rapport
- Ability to self-manage with excellent time management skills
