A computer software company is seeking a Remote Software Technical Writer in Austin.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop user guides, online help, API reference, developer guides, product release notes, and client notifications
  • Develop and edit documentation for both software products and hardware requirements
  • Develop and edit end-user training materials for technical and non-technical audiences

Required Skills:

  • 1-2 years of technical writing experience on software products
  • Passion for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to write for print and online mediums
  • 1-2 years of experience writing and delivering quality documentation for enterprise-class software
