Job Summary

A company that connects fans directly with artists in a familiar music player interface is filling a position for a Remote Software Testing Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Focusing on testing infrastructure to ensure the continued quality of the world's largest open, decentralized, blockchain-backed music player
• Collaborating with engineering and product teams to identify critical systems and user flows that need to be tested
• Working with our release captain to triage production bugs, identify regressions and minimize future impacts of such bugs

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of working as a software engineer focused on testing
• Experience reading code and writing test specs for services with minimal guidance
• Demonstrated solid understanding of scripting programming languages like Python or Javascript as well as Linux and Bash
• Experience triaging bugs and regressions on production
• Demonstrated understanding of modern unit, integration and system test tools like Selenium, Playwright, Mocha, Jasmine, Nock, Pytest
• Familiarity with modern CI & CD tooling/services like CircleCI
