Job Summary

A software company is filling a position for a Remote Software User Experience Designer in Overland Park.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Creating experiences that solve problems
  • Driving the design phase forward, practicing rapid iteration, and moving quickly
  • Developing and maintaining UX design deliverables that capture requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a user experience or interaction designer, information architect, or similar
  • Bachelor’s in Information Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design, Human-Machine Interaction, or related field
  • A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions
  • Mastery of common creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch or equivalent
  • Experience using Rapid Prototyping tools such as Figma and Axure
  • Knowledge and experience with accessibility guidelines
