Job Summary

An information technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Solr Database Reliability Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Maintaining, configuring, tuning, and monitoring our database infrastructure
  • Understanding and troubleshooting issues across the stack
  • Building automation and tooling around all facets of database operation

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Experience managing open-source databases (MySQL, Cassandra) in large-scale environments
  • Experience with search engines (Solr, Elasticsearch, Cloudsearch)
  • Experience with Linux systems administration
  • Experience with configuration management systems
  • Experience writing Python or other scripting language
