Job Summary
A financial and banking institution has a current position open for a Remote Sourcing Commodity Lead in Boston.
Must be able to:
- Execute against commodity and sourcing strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute sourcing initiatives
- Maintain close relations with the industry supply base
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- 7 or more years of relevant experience in sourcing and contract negotiation
- Experience leading complex sourcing engagements using best practice 7-step sourcing process
- Strong consulting, project management and analytics skills
- Proven success with building and progressing stakeholder relationships
- Knowledge of Ariba, Oracle, and advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
