Job Summary
A technology company that works on heavy manufacturing machinery has an open position for a Remote Sourcing Manager.
Must be able to:
- Develop sourcing and manufacturing strategies that improve cost, lead times working capital and payment terms
- Identify and prioritize sourcing projects based on total cost of ownership
- Drive implementation of sourcing and manufacturing strategies with the individual sites
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 10 + years’ experience managing regional and global sourcing for US and/or EU based organizations
- Excellent interpersonal skills, relationship building, and project management skills
- Demonstrated track record of RFP development, market baskets, sourcing processes, strategies execution, project management and transition plans
