Job Summary
A space company has an open position for a Remote Space Operations Software Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Build, test, deploy, and maintain the applications that run our satellite
- Create software to automate spacecraft testing and manufacturing
- Build spacecraft telemetry monitoring and anomaly response services
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience with the design, implementation, test, deployment, and backend software and microservice architectures
- Professional experience building high-reliability, continuously-up applications in Python, Rust, Go, or other languages
- Experience building backend services and RESTful API design
- Expertise working with and designing with distributed software systems
- Knowledge of building database-backed applications and database technologies
- Expertise with logging, monitoring, and metrics tracking for large software systems
