Job Summary
An educational and research institution is filling a position for a Remote Space Physics Group Subcontracts Assistant Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Manage a $50M subcontract portfolio
- Conduct effective subcontract management
- Develop competitive and sole source Request for Proposals
Qualifications for this position include:
- BA/BS required
- Minimum of seven years of federal subcontract experience or equivalent required
- Prior experience managing NASA funding or similar complex federal research contracts
- Broad knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Uniform Guidance
- Experience negotiating complex contracts and other research-related agreements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
