Job Summary

A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Spanish Bilingual Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Facilitating modifications to clinical documentation to ensure appropriate reimbursement
• Taking responsibility for a patient's safety, family needs, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes
• Recognizing opportunities for documentation improvement, and keeping reimbursement considerations in balance

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree with current active clinical license (RN) (required)
• 5+ years of adult/geriatric care experience (required)
• Ability to fluently read, write, and speak Spanish AND English (required)
• 3+ years of clinical documentation improvement experience, coding experience or equivalent (required)
• 1+ year of experience working with advanced practice providers as well as other clinical and non-clinical staff (required)
• Experience with risk adjustment and value based care delivery systems
