Job Summary

An edtech startup company is seeking a Remote Spanish Curriculum Writer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Developing high-quality literacy lessons in Spanish for students in grades 3-6
• Editing, copyediting, digitizing, and publishing resources in Spanish for CommonLit.org/es
• Collaborating on and strategizing marketing efforts (social media, blog writing, newsletter, webinars, etc.)

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of teaching experience (preferably as a Spanish Dual Language or World Language teacher)
• A background in Spanish-language literature, history, education, or other humanities field
• Fluency in Spanish (written and oral)
• Strong attention to detail and desire for feedback
• Strategic thinker, self-starter, with strong time management and organizational skills
• Lived experience or work experience in communities of color
