A staffing agency has a current position open for a Remote Spark Developer in Newark.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Designing, testing and implementing software code and infrastructure
• Working with team mates in a collaborative manner to achieve a mission

Qualifications Include:

• Remote work is available. However, once situation is back to normal, candidate is expected to work from client location
• Experience in working with a Big Data implementation in production environment
• 3+ years of experience in data warehousing architectural approaches and minimum 3 years in big data development
• Sound understanding and experience with Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem
• Sound knowledge of relational databases (SQL)
• Experience in Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Map Reduce, Impala, Scala, Kafka, flume, Python, Linux/Unix technologies
