A software development company has an open position for a Remote Spark Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Working on Spark applications processing billions of records
- Using the latest and great technologies to solve technical problems
- Working on various Spark applications using any and all of Scala, Java, and Python
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Have a deep understanding of Spark
- Have created spark applications that process high data volumes
- Have at least a solid understanding of SQL. You don’t need to be an expert but solid knowledge is required.
- Have AWS or other cloud provider experience
