Job Summary
An online school system is in need of a Remote Special Education Specialist in Tulare County.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting assigned students receiving Special Education services
- Writing and managing IEPs for students on caseload
- Following up with parental or teacher concerns
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to attend in-person meetings, trainings, and state testing
- Bachelor's degree and residence in the state of California
- Strong content and subject-matter knowledge
- Ability to support and guide adults, as well as students
- Excellent writing and grammar skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook, and PowerPoint
