Job Summary

An education company has an open position for a Remote Special Education Specialist in Ventura County.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Setting up IEPs in online classroom, and follow up with attendees
  • Supportting assigned students receiving Special Education services
  • Scheduling and holding individual monthly phone conferences with the general education teachers

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Attend all in-person meetings as scheduled
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to support and guide adults, as well as students
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Strong content and subject-matter knowledge
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills
