Remote Special Education Substitute Teacher

Job Summary

An online public school is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Special Education Substitute Teacher.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Completing all grading, creating report cards and conducting parent conferences in a timely and manner
• Working collaboratively with a team of teachers to ensure that all students on the teams caseload are successfully progressing through the program
• Supporting the instructional program with asynchronous web conferencing sessions

Required Skills:

• Have a valid Special Education teacher certification in California that remains active throughout employment
• Must submit to background checks, including fingerprinting and drug testing as required by state assignment
• Must have the ability and willingness to get additional certifications as needed
• Have a Bachelors degree or higher
• Have strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs)
