Job Summary
An online public school is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Special Education Substitute Teacher.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Completing all grading, creating report cards and conducting parent conferences in a timely and manner
- Working collaboratively with a team of teachers to ensure that all students on the teams caseload are successfully progressing through the program
- Supporting the instructional program with asynchronous web conferencing sessions
Required Skills:
- Have a valid Special Education teacher certification in California that remains active throughout employment
- Must submit to background checks, including fingerprinting and drug testing as required by state assignment
- Must have the ability and willingness to get additional certifications as needed
- Have a Bachelors degree or higher
- Have strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs)
