Job Summary

An online education company is filling a position for a Remote Special Education Teacher.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Communicating with parents and applicable related service staff
• Making modifications and accommodations to lessons and assessments as specified by the IEP
• Ensuring inclusion and success of student in the general education classroom

Qualifications Include:

• Travel as required (on average once per month and/or approximately 10% of the time)
• Bachelor's degree
• Active State Special Education teaching license
• Ability to clear required background check
• Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
