Job Summary

A healthcare company is seeking a Remote Specialty Clinical Coding Specialist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Reviewing and analyzing documentation present in the medical record for inpatient, outpatient and/or professional services
• Assigning diagnoses/procedure codes as described by the physician(s) of record
• Abiding by the Standards of Ethical Coding as set forth by the American Health Information Management Association

Position Requirements Include:

• Experience in ICD-10 CM diagnoses/procedure coding and HCPCS/CPT procedure coding in the acute care inpatient/ outpatient hospital
• High school diploma
• RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, or CIRCC or completed within 6 months of employment
• Working knowledge and high level of experience with the ICD-10-CM and/or CPT/HCPCS coding classification systems
