Job Summary
A specialty insurance and reinsurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Specialty Insurance Tax Staff Accountant.
Must be able to:
- Assist in preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions
- Perform tax account analysis and reconciliations.
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university
- Must have PC proficiency in an MS Windows environment
- Advanced MS Excel required to manipulate large amounts of data
- Attention to detail, persistence in identifying inconsistencies, high degree of accuracy and excellent organizational skills
- Analytical ability to review previous work results and extrapolate processes with current data
- Strong written skills to create process documentation and work papers
