Job Summary

A specialty insurance and reinsurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Specialty Insurance Tax Staff Accountant.

Must be able to:

  • Assist in preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions
  • Perform tax account analysis and reconciliations.

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university
  • Must have PC proficiency in an MS Windows environment
  • Advanced MS Excel required to manipulate large amounts of data
  • Attention to detail, persistence in identifying inconsistencies, high degree of accuracy and excellent organizational skills
  • Analytical ability to review previous work results and extrapolate processes with current data
  • Strong written skills to create process documentation and work papers
